Victoria Island, is a fantasy song for youthful escapism, filled with euphoric tendencies and was written not so long ago for a very young girl by the name of Victoria who had recently turned 3 years of age on her birthday anniversary. In the heart of the song we find ourselves travelling through a world of escapism, heading towards an Island not so far away from the imaginative mind. Candyland and Merryland are some of the exotic places we encounter. The experience becomes a means for discovery and would almost present itself as an adventurous quest towards a never ending journey.

Although much of its content is focused on Victoria’s celebratory moments, its deeper meaning reaches out to the inner child within each and every one of us and asks the listener to allow themselves a means for escape from the everyday world and its troubles. The laid back soothing sounds and simple melody is definitely something one can kick back to in a world full of pure bliss and tranquility.

This song is dedicated to all mothers, fathers and most importantly children across the world, especially those who live in broken down homes and find it very difficult to discover their Victoria Island.
